The three items that I would
take would be my jewelry but the one piece is a locket that my mom gave me
before she died, my photo book of pictures of my family, and my cell phone.
These three items means a lot to me. The locket means a lot to me cause it is a
piece of what my mom left to me before she died. The pictures are good
memories of the family traveling to different states, and going on cruise,
amusement parks, and family reunions. My cell phone is texts of my
family and friends that said special things to me with inspiration and
encouraging words. For example of saying the words “I love you”. I would be
upset if they told me that I could take only one item. The one item that I
would take would be the locket because that locket means more to me because it
was pass through y grandmother, to my mother, and to me. Eventually I will pass
it to my daughter. The insights I have gained from my family and my family
culture regardless of losing a parent keep up the traditions alive as far as
cooking, celebrating holidays, and being there for each other. I also learn to
enjoy life and live it to the fullest.
